We are Nidhi and Ankur Gupta from Delhi and there is our little daughter Neitya. We are a working couple into software and the little one has just started school with Nursery. We are the best candidates because...

We represent a normal regular working couple. We have never traveled in the itenary planned for this trip, and this would make it a discovery of the sorts. While I like mountains and wildlife, Nidhi likes beaches. Neitya loves animals and water like a 3 yr old. This trip has something for all of us, and the way we discover the big and little india around us, we shall share the same with the world. A friend has asked to blog about the driving culture on roads of India, and thats a topic i also to. For e.g. in UP you mostly overtake from the left only. The sugarcane belt in UP, you are sometimes driving with bullock carts on national highways. I have been doing social blogging since some time and will use this opportunity also to highlight the road and driving conditions we have in India

Our Travel Plan

The travel plan shall have a mighty mix that represents India. It would weave through, the diamond city of surat, the royal city of Udaipur, city of love Khajuraho, The panna national park, Khandwa, Shirdi, Nasik and back to Mumbai. Our Travelogue

I have been travelling in the northern india, covering leh, srinagar, punjab and rajasthan. I have been to Manhattan and San francisco in US. Nidhi has travelled in and around the southern tip of India and parts of Uttar pradesh. Past is gone and we want to look forward to make a future with the exploratory adventures in India. Some weird things I have done is to travel in a zen from Delhi to rohtang in manali, not knowing where is it...just started from Delhi, and when in Chandigarh asked people for the route ahead.. Then in night drove a zen from manali to manikaran, taking a midnight halt in kasol as bridge was broken. Went from Delhi to rishikesh, and then as rishikesh was hot, drove upto joshimath as weather kept on cooling. Had to take a break at Joshimath as it was one way and closed from there. I travel to explore and enjoy the small things, love india and the variety it offers.
