So the story goes something like this: Committed and happy-in-a-relationship Joe signs up for a contest to spend 10 days with a whole different partner. Obviously he believes the focus is always on the contest and not the partner. After 10 days and a lot of sparks flying in every direction, he is not so sure.
Is it just a holiday romance or is there something special here?
The second leg of our journey took us to Agra, Shivpuri, Indore, Dhule and Nashik. Obviously we parked for a night at a lot of places, though not interesting as the first leg these places are still memorable for us.
In all the hype between Jodhpur in Rajasthan and Agra in UP, we missed out telling you guys about Jaipur entirely. Not because we forgot, but it was nothing really memorable - sadly.
The end of a long drive. If we could sum up the last eleven days using words about the wonderful experiences we had, the people we met etc. we would. We did what we did with the understanding that we would try and bring stories that caught our attention or something that was unique about the place that we could talk about, as long as we felt strongly about it.
I saw Durgaprasad leaning over on his table, eyes completely glued to the print he was working on. A drypoint. I was completely bowled over by his work. Dark and moody, It was almost exactly an opposite from the person who was grinning sheepishly at me, while I stood there like a gushing fan.
This has been an exciting road trip for us. One that we will remember forever! Apart from the many things we learn during such travels, this trip also helped us to realize that endurance is only a matter of will.
One of the most common things to any Indian roadtrip are the smiles, laughs and “wtf” moments that the grafitti on other vehicles - especially the good old lorries and autos! The idea of bumper stickers never really made any headway in India but these fearless travellers keep the fad alive!
Get a little glimpse of the things that made us smile, wake up or just go click-click to come back and tell you guys the story! Read on.
