We both were on ANANT (Endless) journey of SHYNEE (Calmness), until we met each other and life suddenly became a Speedometer. That’s what happens when two PUNJABI share Butter soaked Paranthas on the Highway Dhabas of Punjab & drink Lichi juices on route to Kasauli. :) At professional level... Anant being a Sales guy keeps a track of distance (has to claim for Petrol Bills, you know :0) & Shynee being a Researcher comes across various people and cultures. But, when you ask them to spell DRIVING… they both charge up their batteries and accelerate to places they themselves don’t know… On Delhi roads, we call it “Space Management” but at heart, we call it “PASSION”. We are two different colors... two parallel roads... two completely opposite individuals... yet our Passion to travel and the zest to explore new terrain is what keeps the two of us going.

We are the best candidates because...

Our Love for Travel increases multifold, whenever we see people moving from "Paghriss" to "Lama" dresses and scroching heat transforming into Ice Capped mountains. We know we can drive anywhere for 4-5 hours at a stretch (only breaking for nature’s call :O) without even caring for the next turn. Our hunger to travel has taken us to diferent places known and unknown. Also, we both have the patience to find new ways to reach unreachable destinations and feel even better when we get lost midway. And this challenge of finding our ways only gives Velocity to our journey. Not to mention, Reading Maps is like eating Ice creams for us (Yes, its true for the Female partner as well). Apart from this, we try our level best to understand our machines by assessing its limitations and strengths so that we can take good control on it while driving.

Our Travel Plan

Day 1: We embark on an exciting journey in our sporty CEDIA, battling the rains of Mumbai and heading to Nasik…172 Kms . After enjoying some Gujarati food & going around Pandu Lena Caves , we turn our car towards Aurangabad.… 376 kms, to adore Mini Taj of the Deccan “Bibi ka Maqbara”. Spending a quiet evening at the Panchakki , we halt here for night. Day 2: Shifting gears from one state to another we are going to Nizamabad… 759 kms, where we plan to see the Famous Fort and Nizamsagar Dam… sweet dreams. Day 3: As the night gives way to a beautiful morning, we leave early to reach Hanamkonda… 980 kms in time for a modest Breakfast on the banks of river Krishna. This part of India has lot many Forts & Temples to offer, so we are heading towards the 1000 pillars of the Famous Hanamkonda Temple. We are now going to Vijayawada… 1223 kms, for a night stay. Day4: After buying some famous Kondapalli toy souvenir’s we head towards Nellore… 1500 kms. The Eastern Coastline with its calm and serene waters has a beautiful place, TADA Falls to offer. So, we are going trek all the way up. Day 5: After a good night’s sleep at Nellore we dash towards the City of Chennai, and are welcomed by mouth-watering Dosa’s… 1702 kms. Now our CEDIA is taking us to our long awaited destination, Pondicherry… 1849 kms. We will surely spend Day 6 here to see French Culture and Churches, Auroville & nearby places. Day 7: After spending some cherished moments, we now begin our descend & start off for Hosur… 2120 kms, to see some industrial areas as well. Day 8: From there we move towards Devangere and get a feel of being a NGO activist… 2454 kms . DAY 9 & 10: Leaving early morning for OH LA LA LA EEEH OHH.. Goa… 2771 kms, We enjoy some para sailing and a lazy evening on the sun kissed beaches of Goa. DAY 11: From there we move on to Pune… 3222 kms. We participate in some relaxingly different forms of meditation at the Osho Ashram in Pune and then push off for Mumbai, bringing our CEDIA to neutral gear…  3374 kms.

Our Travelogue

Walking through the green lanes of Central park (New York) to the busy electrifying Times Square. The depths of the Grand Canyon and the height of the red mountains left us speechless. Life is a beautiful gamble, I learnt it at Las Vegas. Borrowing silence from the Islands of Maldives to the cattle dominated land of Pushkar. Pink was the color of Jaipur for us until we had white sand from Jaisalmer in our hands. Banaras was hearing only one sound in the morning the bells from the Kashi Vishwanath. Sariska had three tigers playing hide and seek until we reached Ranthambore where the game was still on. We had to rinse off our Karmas so we reached Rishikesh. The back waters of Kerela, the sambar and the rasam had a whole new story to unfold .We climbed up the Charminar to see the pearls glow in Hyderabad. We reached Leo Pold café Mumbai in anticipation to meet Shantaram, the busy local trains of Mumbai brought us face to face with the starch realities life had to offer. Our axles took the tool from the broken roads of Rohtang. Macleod Ganj was meditating to the hymns of the Buddhist Gongs. We treated our appetites to a big glass of Lassi and Choolla bhatturas after our devotional interface with The Golden Temple.The road took us to Kala Toop District Chamba where the forest was as dense as an old man’s beard. Khajiyar was painted green and was worth the 30kms drive from Dalhousie. Our love for literature took us to Kolkatta where trams were full of intellect and cigarette stubs. The Osho Ashram called us to Pune from were our spiritual selves guided us to Igatpuri to discover our inner selves. In the whole hustle bustle Bangalore had to offer, we reached Kanankpura The Art of Living Ashram, a place were divinity nests. Travel is a book with endless chapters, you keep on unfolding new after new..
