Pooja and me (Tash)have been born and brought up in Amchi Mumbai.. have been together since 10yrs.. We have 2 children, but this hasn’t stopped us from going out we still take road trips together. R love for travel, photography and cars have got our children also addicted to it...for I have taken my passion for travel a little more ahead of every one else.. I have chosen to become a Pilot and travel the world. I would say at 34000 feet it is the best office in the whole world.. Pooja is not left behind she too accompanies me on my trip when free.... Having a challenging job and 2 cute kids. Its difficult to keep our passion alive for travel, but hasn’t stopped us from spontaneous plans- jumping into our car, tucking tight our kids on the rear seat and driving off. After Pooja's Spinal Surgery in 2005 she was not allowed to sit for more than 20 mins at a stretch but after 4yrs, Pooja have proved all d Drs and her MRI reports wrong.. She has chosen to get back in life, as she cant sit at home doing nothing.. Her passion to travel has got her moving, and I want to take this challenge with her so that she could become the same Pooja before the surgery. Pooja is the best traveler and life partner in the world.

We are the best candidates because...

We r the best candidates for this Challenge as Pooja is spontaneous, freaky and adventorous. She will see the the beauty of the place in a way no one wud see. After much convincing I was allowed to buy a high defination camera and now she agrees the beauty of it. Both of us are ready for anything that comes our way as we walk thru it holding each-others hands. On the trip there will be times when she will want to go RIGHT and me LEFT, but then thats the beauty of it. Keep voting.

Our Travel Plan

Doing 3000kms in 12days is not so difficult.. Tash has drove 900 kms at a stretch.. We will ENJOY our good old driving days alone with no kid (after a long time). With Pooja given me an SLR camera, hoping to capture every thing we see our way..Starting from Mumbai to Ratnagiri, from here to vijayadurg in Kokan, from there to lovely beaches of Goa. on NH17 to Manguluru, via Mysur to Coimbatore to Kanyakumari this route may change, as Pooja is planning to see places on this route which she missed early.

Our Travelogue

As we love travling, We go on a road trip every holiday in the week .. So their r so many experiences that this space is small to fit itall, but will write down few.................... Before joining Jet i was working in a firm named Sab technical, which was in to specialized job for the petroleum and chemical factories. I use to travel to all the refineries by road, drove to reliance refinery in jamnagar, Rcf in thal in Alibaug, Chambal Fertilizer in Kota in Rajasthan, Tpl in Chennai. Mrpl in Mangalore, Haldia petrochemicals in Haldia near Kolkatta. Wehave also traveled by road from Delhi to Mumbai. Ratnagiri, Goa and Manguluru. I had the best chance to see the interiors of our country, the villages the cities and the beautiful landscape that i am proud of. This has also made me understand the unique and vast difference in the customs and cultures in our country. The rivers and the forts in Maharashtra are fabulous and i guess once a person should visit the interiors of this country to know our country really well.....

always assumed that if there ever were one of these challenges, then I'd be there 1st in line. Unfortunately thats not the case, but the one thing that makes me happy is the fact that Pooja & Tash are the most competent people to take part in this event. I know they can take on anything that Indian roads have to throw at them, and I know that they can keep us entertained FOREVER
