I know Mina since we were just 9 years old. She is a person with such wide interests that any pursuit is possible for her. Her outlook towards like is so positive that it is contagious. I remember Dilip driving us all the way from Chennai to Tirunelveli so that we could get some printing done for our English Department magazine. It was a great drive that began at noon and ended late in the night. All along the way, Dilip made great conversation and it was fun chatting with him. The return trip was equally good and now that he has embarked on this venture with Mina, I do hope he gets the chance to engage in three things he enjoys with the family he loves: driving, writing and capturing images frozen in time. All the best to the two of you.

I glad to say that I was around when I first saw those sparks begin to fly between Mina and Dilip. And I am glad that I am around now to say why I believe they are great candidates to undertake this driving challenge. Dilip once drove a group of us friends from Tirunelveli to Munnar where we all had a great time. I enjoyed Mina's vivacity and Dilip's sardonic sense of humour. Photographs of that trip still offer a nice dose of nostalgia. I wish Dilip and Mina the very best on this venture and I hope they derive great enjoyment from it. Go for it, the two of you.
