Hrish & Nikki are great friends from Bangalore who worked together for over an year in Accenture. They are fun loving and love to do interesting things like travel, party and enjoy life! Hrish is very active blogger and a social media celeb; whereas Nikki loves her driving and is a speedster who maintains caution!

Hrish has been blogging since the last 8 years and was one of the earliest bloggers from India. He has also been called a “power twitter user” by Mint newspaper (http://www.livemint.com/2009/03/04150439/Tweeting-with-Power.html) and also as one of the top twitterers in Bangalore by DNA newspaper (http://epaper.dnaindia.com/dnabangalore/newsview.aspx? eddate=1/10/2009&pageno=1&edition=4&prntid=954&bxid=27943918&pgno=1) His twitter account http://twitter.com/dhempe was also mentioned in an article about him organizing a twestival (http://epaper.dnaindia.com/dnabangalore/epaperimages/08022009/d28095376-7Sunday%20Bangalore-pg9-0.jpg). No wonder as he has close to 1450 followers for his twitter stream at the last count, and growing by the day! He is also very popular on facebook too where he has over 850 friends all over the country and even most parts of the world! One of Hrish's most important passions is short-filmmaking. He has a media startup called Flaunge (www.flaunge.com) which creates short films and documentaries for the Internet. So he would love doing the same for the Great Driving Challenge too! Our Travel Plan

Our plan for the Great driving challenge is to drive to the heart of India (Madhya Pradesh) from where we plan to check out some majestic wildlife in Ranthambore and Kanha; and also pre-historic art in Ajanta. We also plan to check out the beauty of nature in Madhya Pradesh combined with rich history! Rest of our plan is still being finalized.

Our Travelogue

Hrish has traveled to South Africa for 5 days in July 2009 to live blog/take pictures/videos about Durban and surrounding places as a part of a promotion by South African tourism and IN.com. Within the 5 days, he crammed a day tour of durban, day tour of shakaland - a zulu village, a day tour of Hluhluwe/Umfolozi game reserve, a day tour of pietermartizburg and a day in the drakensberg mountains. He was live blogging all the action here - http://f5southafrica.in.com/ When Hrish went to Miami for a short duration of 3 days in early ‘05, he covered many places including the south beach, haulover (clothing optional) beach, Miami nightlife - caring two hoots about the jet lag! One of the craziest things he did there was skinny dipping at the haulover (clothing optional) beach in broad daylight! Hrish also crammed in a lot of sightseeing including New york, Niagara falls, Corning, Buffalo and Washington when he visited the US again in late ’05, all within a shoe string budget and within 5 days! He loves discovering places and does lot of research online before visiting a place, via travel sites like wikitravel to make the right informed decisions! Nikki has drove down to some of the best places in Karnataka and India. She has driven down to Kabini national park and also Bandipur national park where she has some of the most beautiful wildlife that Western Ghats has to offer.
