BOMBAY- DAMAN-AHD-UDAIPUR-SHREENATHJI- AJMER-JAIPUR-DELHI ............. I & 3 of my friends had gone on a Road trip from Bombay - Delhi through Gujarat and Rajasthan finally to Delhi in 5 days flat we left on a Monday, first stop Daman since gujarat is a dry state sipped on some beer our driver drove after that coz we beleive in road safety, next stop Ahmedabad NID met a friend and dinner at Vishaala its like a gujarati folk village with folk dance & hukkas and sumptuous gujrati food, we drove all night taking turns and guess where we were at 6 AM Udaipur the beautiful lake city we loved the place and stayed ,visited the beautiful lake palace amazing boat ride and buffet & a couple of other historical places , next stop Shreenathji , we had to back track as we went ahead and got to know of the place if you go to udaiput you have to take darshan at Shreenathji we were so pooped & had to get up at 4 AM for the Darshan but we were awaken by the peace and tranquility of the holy place, next was Ajmer sharif Shrine they say you get whatever you ask for there i had so many things in my mind to ask but the only thing i asked for was this trip to never end, onto Jaipur pink city Hawa Mahal , finally to delhi the beauty of the trip was we never planned where to stop next nor did we know what was up next we simply stopped anywhere and everywhere we liked, took pictures and drove off, thats what kept us going curiosity, we met many different people from different cultures..........it was simply great , it was the trip of a lifetime, we really bonded & began to understand each other really well after that & i really suggest that if there is anything that is bothering you or you need to sort out something just go on a roadtrip dont plan just head out.....it will clear out your head.........give you peace...... October 2008 : Langkawi Malaysia: Car : Toyota Vios : Automatic transmission first time in Malaysia new country new roads new rules you just have to improvise We went to 15 of the most prominent tourist destinations and monuments in 10 hours flat no maps, no gps just pure instinct and road signs we first went to the Cable car but it was shut due to rough weather so we decided to explore the waterfalls right next to it the sound of the waterfall just silences all the other sounds around you its like music and we so hypnotized by it we kept following the sound till we reached the top & we could see the cable car start we hurried back down and took the cable car half way up we were mesmerized by this amazingly beautiful view of the coast and the beach when the sunlight hit the sand the entire beach it was glowing you have to look for paradise, next was alligator farm there was this show where the trainer but his head between the jaws I wouldn’t want to piss off such a beast he he , then onto maka mahsuri tomb, Museum of PM's Gifts gosh how many gifts u need a museum for them man I wanted to tell them my birhdate ha ha , boat ride through the mangroves no tigers…….only moi grrrrrrrrrr only scred of my tigeress anita grrrrrrrrrrrr., bat caves well we were looking for “Shikaka”(ace ventura the grat white bat), eagle square where we did a “ Titanic Pose” & finally underwater world where we met our friends wearing tuxedo’s(My feet were feeling happy ha ha penguins) finally back to our Hotel and the surprising thing is i was not at all tired of driving i was enjoying it ............it was an amazing drive around the entire island ................for the first time without any assistance, best part is the road was empty and it circled along the entire coastline of the island We just love the ocean………….
