Our Travelogue

Travelling is my passion and my belief is there is lot to see in India before we explore the rest of the world. Nature is as diverse as the people of India. Being from Mumbai have travelled to most of the weekend getaways however I have been lucky to have seen what they call heaven on earth...that's right Kashmir when I was in school but i distinctly remember it. We were travelling for about 20 days and have seen the snow capped mountains of Gulmarg and sonmarg. I still remember those narrow lanes of Pahalgam. Anybody would get lost in the thick jungle of Daksum. Other places would be Srinagar, Jammu, Can never forget the beautiful gardens of Srinagar and the Dal lake. Dal lake is the most serene lake that i have seen till date with beautiful Shikaras. After the board exams I got an opportunity to visit Pachmari in MP. That was the first trek of my life. The next memorable tour would be Rajasthan with me and my best friend’s family. Started with Mount Abu..Udaipur..Jaipur..Ranakpur..Pushkar...Bikaner...Jodhpur, Chittodgadh, haldighati, Jaislmer. Places like Chittogad and Haldighati are the places we only knew through our history books but got a chance to see them. Rajasthan brings back those grandeur memories. Shows how our kings and queens lived. Remember the beautiful Jain temples in Mount Abu and Ranakpur. The carvings on the pillars leave you awestruck. The most beautiful cities in Rajasthan would be Udaipur and Jaisalmer. Still remember the magnificent City palace of Udaipur standing tall in front of the serene lake (night view is magnificent). I had an opportunity to visit the lake palace. I would say it is the best place to have honeymoon. Another city that no other country has is Jaisalmer. The moment you enter the city you feel as if there is gold dust everywhere. As you move in you see the golden Jaisalmer fort in front of you. It simply stupendous. It is just not possible to describe diverse Rajasthan in just few lines. You have to visit it to experience. The trek that I would never forget would be trek to Sar pass (himachal Pradesh) in May 2005. It was with YHA (Youth Hostel Association). The base camp was Kasol, a beautiful small village in the kullu valley. From Kasol we began the uphill trek and covered Tindarbandh thatch, Khadiaru thatch, Nagaru, Sar pass. Then downward was Biskeri, Bhandak thatch and back to kasol. Each and every camp was breathtaking. Very difficult to express in words. Some of the pics will tell you the story. As for Krish unlike me he has explored Australia from the Gold coast to Adelaide. Being from the eastern part of india (Kolkata) has been on road trips to Darjeeling and some parts of Sikkim. Has got a chance to see the Man eaters of the Sunderbans.

Krish is one of the most passionate person when it comes to cars and driving that i have met,he is like a walking encyclopedia for cars and any question about them is like a cakewalk.Krish and Meghana truly deserve to win this contest

Shealtiel

[Krish and Meghana a long road trip = One of many that they are best in] Krish has always been a car freak and of what I have heard from some common acquaintances, he has in-depth knowledge about cars. Meghana is fond of adventures and road trips and we usually find her narrating incidents form one of her many trips. And when this pair gets together, all we can imagine is stories of some awesome journeys%u2026 All the best.

Debarshi chakraborty

Krish has a passion for cars. His knowledge about cars is enviable. To tell a fact anyone who desires to buy a new car in our project first seeks a overview from Krish and he happily obliges. Not only that he even explains them what the new features are all about. Any new car that occupies sizeable newsprint in Overdrive or is seen on the roads, have already bee either read by Krish or he has completed its test drive. Coming to his driving I had rarely come across anyone who has an appetite for driving. It is not that he only likes to step n the gas when he hits the way, he is equally adroit when is is trailing a long queue of cars in the most frustrating of traffic jams. I have seen him park his car and he ensures that he aligns the car neatly parallel to the kerb, or snugs his car into the tighest of parking slots. Krish also has a passion for visiting places. Needless to say he takes his car along to far flung places.

Steven Liu

'Motto & Gloria' the best couple onscreen (at least can be...). Krish has a great passion for driving & knows far too much about cars. Gloria is his evergreen partner cum Navigator. Both have a great flair for shopping & stlye & you can't stop them even if you want. Would be fun & crazy to see them in the contest.
