Here we go.....All our bags are packed and we are ready to go standing here outside your door.....just like the song of 'Leaving on a Jet Plane, we would like to edit to a Multi-Jet Engine in a car...... Keep looking for my new pics from my school, to the trips, to misc.... 1st Gear Hi I'm Sundheep(don't even ask abt the spelling) ,work as a Telecom professional for the last 9 years, doing the same mundane jobs with different challenges which motivates me to stay ahead in my career. Team work is essential, goes without saying and i'm what i'm because of the support people have shown around me all through my life. Was good, well great in cricket which made my dreams of travelling across India and world come true......naa..just kidding...however i played my best cricket and was part of the "national" team ( that was our local club name in Uttam Nagar). I played the highest level in school cricket participating till District ( Read Distt. Park) level. There are many parks to be honest where i stay u know....... 2nd Gear My Partner in crime ooops in this adventure happens to be my dear wife whom i share not only the wedding rings but also our common likeliness towards adventure, wildlife, photography. In fact she is more adventurous than i'm, tell her to do the most ridiculous of stunts, be it bunjee, rock climbing, water related anything, she is the first one to jump the queue. 3rd Gear I'm really scared of water and that is the reason why we have chosen the path in this journey which wil cover most of the watery place in the Indian Ocean Belt. We were married in 2007, since then it has been a smooth ride, unlike the bumpy roads which we have taken in the past for our journeys. My wife pursues her dream of becoming a Scientist ( which she will, one day) even though it requires a lot of dedication and persevarance ( She has plenty). [We like to accelerate a lot in the 3rd Gear, may be not aware about the fuel prices i think] 4th Gear We are from a typical South Indian-Tamil-Iyer community which makes our roots, values deep along with spirituality. Top Gear to the victory lap Music unites and binds us together in different ways. Its an imperative part of our lives whether we are driving together to some place or we are wandering in our house doing household chores. The important fact is that we both love and are passionate about this interest of ours in a different way. She loves Carnactic Classical music whereas i'm deep down delved into Heavy metal, together we make a combination which is even lethal to consider. Imagine a voilin, mridangam, ganjeera with Lead guitar, drums and KORN( A Metal Band) MICROPHONE....how would that sound.!!!!! We are very cheerful by nature, even in the worst of the situation, which makes our team balanced, focussed and yet determined to succeed at any given level. ( Flickr on so keep watching the space and keep voting....) Stay close our profile to see the adventure in real with loads of pictures, videos, blogs, etc for the VOYAGE we wanna go through......

We are the best candidates because...

We are the best candidates NOT ONLY because we can comply to what is demanded in this challenge of adventure, road trip, living on the edge, cope with the time and distance factor, weather conditions, different places ( unknown destinations-never visited them in the past) but also because we know we are committed to deliver 100% of our ability to compete and succeed to win of course. Needless to say that we are travel junkies who have lot in store for us personally in terms of taking a trip to those undiscovered areas of Indian Ocean Belt. Travelling has been an integral part of our lives since the day we met, so it will just add a feather in our cap if we get through all the obstacles. We pray for the weather god, the road side dhabas, the service stations and most importantly the people whom we will meet in our ROAD TRIP of life. We chose this path because of 2 reasons, 1. I'm scared of water and don't know how to swim, so i would like to get over my sickness and phobia(btw my wife loves the aquatic life and has specifically or you can say coincidentally learned swimming this year). 2. We have always visited all the popular places from hill stations to forests, to monuments in the north where are we are based, however travelling to a place where we both don't have aquintance and to places we have never been together is what spurs and excites the Travel bug inside us. This would not only include the satisfaction and the adernaline pumping in our blood vessels, but will also prepare us for the best team building exercise to showcase our skills and tell the world who is the best !!!!!!

Our Travel Plan

Mumbai>Goa>Mangalore>Kozhikode>Thrissur>Ooty>Mysore>Bangalore>Kolhapur>Pune>Back to amchi Mumbai. So any one who has not voted from those places i'm going to visit, please do so now. I know for sure that there are lot of people who would come in the way of our drive, neither i nor you would like to miss us for this trip of a lifetime. So prepare the best dishes especially your state's speciality (Veg-strictly atleast for me), hold the glasses [( only when i'm stalling @ ur place, or not driving :) ], The travel plan is set in the scenic pathways for our trip. This will cover our interests in the Oceans ( which we have never been), the GHATS, Mountains, Rivers, mountains, forests, Cosmopolitans, villages, what not...this is going to be the best travel experience one can ask for. So keep watching this space for the latest updates and happenings of our journey from the west to South of INDIA.

Our Travelogue

Wow, now this is interesting, as we have travelled from north to south (except east and most parts of west). In the North, the mountains from Himachal Pradesh ( Kullu, Manali, Manikaran, Rohtang, Solang, Lahaul, Spiti, Khajjiar, Dalhousie, Kufri, Chail, Shimla,Nahan, Jamta any place left, perhaps yes, which we will in due course of time. Uttaranchal ( haridwar, rishikesh, rudraprayag, ranikhet, Tehri Garwal-Marchula - all on the same road towards badrinath, nainital and last bt not the least our Love Corbett National Park) Jaipur, Ajmer, Pushkar ( where there are millions of Toll plazas West- Mumbai, Shirdi, Pune ( All as an adventurous trip which we cannot forget in this life) South- Hmm where should i start from Chennai>madurai>trichy> net net all the temples are covered, which are there in every nook and corner of the state Tamil Nadu- Our home state. For most of our travel experiences, keep looking for a space in my blog and a lot of interesting posts which have been there in the past...don't forget to leave a comment or two, won't hurt you know.. We have never been abroad together, whereas i have had a chance to go to singapore for work and at the same time watch F1-Night Grand Prix for the first time in the world. It was fantastic.
