I am Shyam, born & brought up in Coimbatore and my wife Sangeetha is from Chennai. Driving is a pleasure.....!!! and most of our long distance trips are by road only. We thank one and all who voted for us and we the others to cast their votes, please.

We are the best candidates because...

We are one among the best candidates as we drive an average of 2000 kms every month in and out of our home town. She understands the roads and directions well , SHE NEVER SLEEPS IN THE CAR !!!!!!!! We have done parts of this route, most secnic beaches and Hills are part of this route. We are always ready to take up challenges !!

Our Travel Plan

Mumbai to Mysuru to Ooty to Coimbatore to Chennai to Mumbai. The reason we selected this route is central Karnataka has alot of mountains and monsoon would have made it greener, the ghats in western tamil nadu make an ideal back drop for photos, Chennai we hit the east coast and deccan is known for rocky contours. The distance would be 3050 Kms approximately. Yes we are ready for the challenge.

Our Travelogue

Both of us love traveling and have traveled to lot of places yet, still a lot of places are to be covered. Yes we enjoyed all the places we have visited we have taken out the best from that place. I have travelled to Malaysia and Singapore and have experienced the beauty of these places. Sangeetha has traveled to most parts of Northern India, before she got married with their joint family of 30 cousins. This has been their family annual trip.

Shyam is ardent car freak and an encyclopedia on anything on four wheels. He is a born rally driver and really amazes me with the stamina he shows in driving long distances without any trace of stress or strain. His knowledge of highways and road routes is a big asset and while the rest of us have to plan any trip by air or rail months in advance, he just takes his car out and drives...Simple. His strong technical knowledge acquired by years of racing coupled with his zeal and enthusiasm makes him THE ideal candidadte to take part in 'The Great Driving Challenge' and am sure he will do Mitsubishi Cedia Sports proud if selected. It is very rare to see a complete family passionate about cars, driving, racing and rallies...Shyam, Sangeetha and Baby Shravanthika are happiest when they are driving long distance. Shyam's passion for cars and driving has been ably supported by Sangeetha. Baby Shravantika could recognise over 100 car models and logos when she was barely 18 months old. This family makes driving and road travel exciting and fun and they have a repository of adventures on the road. Hats off to Shyam, Sangeetha and Shravantika who have created a virtual home on four wheels !
