My name is Varun Kochar and my partner's name is Vandana Kochar ( wife ) ! We met in Delhi where we used to work together and have now been happily married for the last 3 years. We also have a Baby Boy !! I am the Export Business and based in Agra. She is a home maker but occassionally helps me in my work and maybe in a few years would come and join me full time !! We love travelling and have travelled to many places in Northern India by Car. I guess travelling, driving, holidaying like this just brings you and your partner closer ! Be it the Hills, the beaches or just the desert, we have travelled everywhere and in the near future would love to do the Leh Ladakh route as well !!

We are the best candidates because...

We are the best candidates for this kind of an adventure ( or at least we'd like to think we are ! ) because we love travelling and driving. This is the best kind of vacation one can take. All you need is a bit of planning, a good car and a partner whose company you enjoy. With the new highways and GQ complete driving in India has become a lot easier than it was a few years back. A 1000 km run a day is a possibility now !! I have done a fair bit of driving and travelling in the last 3 years and some of my travelogues are online on Team BHP.

Our Travel Plan

I have always wanted to do Agra / Delhi to Goa route by road. My plan for the Great Driving Challenge is to do the following - Day 1 - Delhi to Jaipur to Udaipur ( Night Halt at Udaipur ) Day 2 - Udaipur - Ahemdabad ( Night Halt ) Day 3 - Ahemdabad - Mumbai ( Night Halt ) Day 4 - Mumbai - Goa ( Night Halt ) Day 5 - Goa - Gokarna ( Night Halt ) Day 6 - Gokarna - Bengaluru ( Night Halt ) Day 7 - Bengaluru -

Our Travelogue

Since our Marriage we have travelled o the following routes - Agra - Delhi - Jaipur - Agra Agra - Delhi - Chandigarh - Manali - Rohtang & Back Agra - Delhi - Dehradoon - Mussoorie & Back Agra - Jaipur - Jodhpur - Udaipur & Back Agra - Chandigarh - Kasauli & Back Delhi - Amritsar & Back including Wagah Border. Apart from these above I have travelled extensively to the UK but alone, will be soon travelling abroad with my wife.
