hi there, we are satvinder & amrita galhotra, i think you can call me RAJI (my nick name is much better) anyways......i am graphics designer & running my own business & my wife amrita she is also a articarft designer & running there own business. in 2005 we got married, we are here b`cos we love traveling specially by road. i am really passionate about traveling by road all the time anywhere. actually my business required touring allot so, many time i went alone for tour with dirver, exp : 5000 km, 7 states touched, 23 days tour. from childhood i am into tour, previously with dad,mom,sister, when its business than along, when its vacations time, then with my wife. we are from nagpur (ms).

We are the best candidates because...

we are the best because........... i am very much experienced in by road trip to any where. the very first thing is need in byroad trip is....you have the full fledged plan of our rout, with all the maps & details. you must have all the legal papers, & the very important thing is, you should always obey the safety rules. which i always do...because safety is my business. so i dont break rules. i always drive below 100 speed. because i drive in long run is to enjoy the nature & good safe driving rather than unsafe driving. with few minutes late, you cant do anything. my motto is ... " its good to be late 10 minutes, than to be late forever" .

Our Travel Plan

if i will selected in the great driving challenge than i would love to plan my rout through in the shape of " 0" circle. beach city - historical places - hidden beautiful small cities - hill stations - good tourist place which all people usually does not know - back to beach city i already planed my rout but right now i will not disclose it. one last thing i must tell this, if i will be selected in best of 3, than i am the tough contestant.

Our Travelogue

the very good thing in me is...i always start writing diary when i was in long run route. like : at what time i was started my tour, in every 50 to 80 kms run, which village is passing, where i was fill the fuel, at what rate, km reading,...etc.etc.etc. if i was driving along then also i was write always. so in my 34 years of career i have so much of detail in written that hardly covered in any map. with family we have gone to many places.....like : > in 1994 tour in our fiat car gone towards......gantok-sikkim-dargling-siliguri-bhutan. > in 1996 tour in our old fiat car....towards bombay-goa-ajanta-ellora-hyderabad-nasik-shirdi-then nagpur. > in 2000 tour in my tata sumo.....me with driver, rout towards MP, CG, JR, BIHAR, MS, UP.....all six states touched in 29 days with 3600 km run. > in 2004 tour in my tata siera.......me with dirveer, rout same above......in 23 days 5000 km run. > in 2008 tour in my tata indica......me all alone, towards...nagpur to pune, kolhapur, goa, & back kolhapur, nanded, nagpur in 20 days 3200 km run. so the bottom line is....from our childhood, we love to drive, we love nature, we love adventure, we love everything in byroad trip....but all in the limit of SAFETY. i really have lots of experience in byroad trip, so love to go anywhere in car.
