Intense Emotions of Immense Pachyderms

Posted By thomas

Elephants, I feel are amongst one of most expressive animals. They have no hidden feelings. Whatever is the emotion; be it the love shared between a mother and her calf, the joy of uniting with their herd, the grief over the death of a loved one, the compassion for each other, rage when one encroaches their space; we see them all. Our various encounters into the forests have given us an opportunity to experience such emotions. Some of them have left us a little shaken, some have left us awestruck by their sheer intensity while others have bought a tear to our eyes. In this series of photos, we share with you, few such emotions of these enormous pachyderms.

About us

Working at the heart of India’s technology industry, we are a Bangalorean couple who enjoy the best of both worlds. From the dense corporate jungle of conference calls, meetings and mental wear and tear, we manage to slip away, seeking the real India over long experience filled drives.

Thomas, who has clocked more than 180,000 km of passionate driving over the last ten years, is also an accomplished photographer and avid blogger; Shilpy is a devoted wildlife lover and the more adventurous of the two.
